Exhaust Comparison: SS Dual Mode vs SS Base vs V6 Base
Here are videos from the SS Dual Mode vs SS Base vs V6 Base. Unfortunately they didn't have a V6 dual mode on display.
SS Dual Mode Exhaust: SS Base Exhaust: V6 Base Exhaust: Interior video of the SS dual mode. He wasn't very consistent with the revs but I'll put it up anyway: Last edited by BahamaTodd; 11-05-2015 at 04:42 PM. |

The NPP doesn't sound all that much louder then the base really...was hoping for more of a difference. It does have a better tone though.
Still on the fence with NPP or aftermarket. |

The NPP in track mode is louder than the stock exhaust. Only in the high revs though. If you're looking for good deep sound closer to idle, go aftermarket. All the exhausts are pretty quiet at low rpm and idle.
It will be interesting to see if opening up before the muffler (headers, high flow cats, etc) while keeping the NPP would work. You could still then have the option to quiet it down some. |
