For most cars, it won't make that big a difference. For a high hp build where you're trying to get every last bit of power, then x-pipe would be the one. I for one prefab x-pipe anyways, but that's just me.

I think it even depends on the STYLE of x-pipe, too. Some look like an actual X

and some look like someone pinched a pair of pipes together and just took the wall out of them.

I wonder what the difference would be between them, if any.

I'm confused on what you're getting at haha, it sounds fine to me? Pretty great actually. And just because you don't like it for whatever reason doesn't mean it is any less beneficial or any better than the other style design?

i love the lope. this sounds too calm to me. Yes i know a cam fixes that. I wonder if LT headers and high flow cats will make it better. I am working on a new design for the NPP controller.

I'm a bit baffled by a 36" H-pipe crossover length and comparing it to an X. The only reason I see is they were lazy and it would add welds/time.
