Easy way to remember these things... The RS package is an exterior cosmetic package. Changes nothing on the inside of the car, interior is part of the 1/2 packages.

My bad it isnt part of the RS package, I thought it was since my 1SS came with them.

2015 it's an option on the 1SS/1LT. Not sure about previous year models, but I THINK you can buy and install it on them

Also, 2SS has HUD, 1SS does not.

Exterior difference between the 1SS and the 2SS is the chrome strip on the grill, for the 2SS.

Exterior differences only apply sort of>>>lol Usually if I see a SS and it has white badges its a 1ss because it was made for a lower end customer who if not having the Rs package why would they have Leather, HUD, four pack of gauges with its big expense. I thought the NON Rs option on the new 2014-15 Camaros eliminated the chrome strip, and sorry about my mis-post last night I was tired in bed and .....lol I frankly ditched my old ss badges and used them to decorate...
I know RS is for the wheels and Pirellis and the roof ditch molding, and the halo angel eye head lights. I Know usually like yesterday when I am looking at another Camaro if its a non RS and its a SS usually its a 1ss like the one I saw yesterday at Wally world, along with two others....lol the dang things are everywhere now, really makes you want to mod the heck out of your car to set it apart...and yes I am.
