For the members who have this exhaust
What are the Pro's and con's on this system
I am leaning towards this exhaust

I have the Solo axel-backs with J-pipes. Installed them myself in about an hour (that's a Pro). I absolutely love them and they sound great (two more Pros). I get many compliments on the sound (another Pro). Zero drone but the J-pipes are adjustable, if you happen to like drone (I hate it - one more Pro). The video is the day after installation on a cheap cell-phone... they sound even better now (yet another Pro).

No Cons what-so-ever.

I have the cat-back version. My only complaint is that they are almost stock sounding in the car. Outside you can hear them if on the pedal. I wish they were a little louder.

Have you tried to adjust the J Pipes? I have the catback as well, and just this past weekend I put the HFCs on. I think it sounds the same with the stock cats and the HFCs. https://vimeo.com/127110570 this first video is with the stock cats
https://vimeo.com/127110602
The 2nd video is the day after installation of the HFCs.

Both videos are in my garage. There is no video it's just audio with a black screen.

I was one of the first to get the Solo Axle Backs here over 4 years ago. Just love them and
the sound is a deep rumble. The best IMO. It is a muffler delete set up and they continue
to get louder all the time.... Nothing not to like.

Wish it was louder. You will hear deceleration popping a lot more (pro or con). I really like the sound for what is costs. There really is zero drone. Wish it was louder at lower rpms. It's quite quiet up to about 3K and below. I'm too afraid of it being too loud if I change out the H-pipe for an x pipe or go to high flow cats now. So I'll just keep it the way it is.

I have them and love it, to me, my exhaust sound is perfect volume, tone, etc.

SP LT Headers
SP HF Cats
Stock L99 resonator
SOLO Axleback with quad 4" tips

The axleback alone will be fairly quiet, they are straight pipes, so its like a muffler delete. BUT they are perfect if you get headers and keep the resonator.

I installed the cat back version on my L99 last month and couldn't be happier. At first it sounded quieter than what I expected, but as you continue to drive it the exhaust gets louder. As stated above, the in cabin noise is not loud until you get into higher RPM's and then it starts to scream. I had a previous after market exhaust system and it droned so badly that it made your ears hurt. This one is docile when you just want to cruise, but an animal when you want to run! No cons, all pros in my book from Solo!
