First few days......
Well I picked up my SW LT/RS Camaro yesterday and so been driving it for two days. So pleased with it. I'll be racking up the miles as I live in Dubai but work in Abu Dhabi - but its mainly highway driving and if I stick to the fast lane most of it will be at about 100mph.
Even though it is fairly common to see high end cars over here, you tend not to see many Camaros and already I'm getting lots of stares etc. Hopefully next week I'll get some pics taken, I work at Yas Island which is home to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit, as well as a new Ferrari Theme Park so lots of good photo opportunities. I had been considering a Infiniti G37 for some time, as well as the Genesis Coupe - but when I saw the Camaro in the flesh there was only going to be one choice. Thanks to everyone on this site, the various threads put my mind at ease that the car would be good as a daily driver - it fits all my diving gear in the trunk as well. |

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to C5!! I'm sure that car is going to get a lot of stares out there...sounds like it will be a rare car for the time being in that area.
