no tachometer, service stabilitrac on dash.
I haven't moved or driven the car in 6 weeks (storage, salt, winter, chicago)
Started it up this morning to run it for awhile in the garage, was presented with this new years gift.. Only thing I've done in six weeks to camaro was plug my radar detector in a spare fuse in the side of the dashboard. Other than that it hasn't moved. Everything looked tip top last time I drove it. any suggestions? |

when my battery gets low, funny things happen.
charge or swap the battery and see what happens.

Bought the car in 2011 with zero miles on the clock, sits today with 65,XXX. The Blizzaks and 20s I bought for it the two winters I drove it, in retrospect, I regret spending that money on the tires and not more mods. By design I have it in the garage cause that is my prerogative and bought a winter beater that I'm enjoying fixing up.
With snowstorm we just had where I live, I like where it is. Thx. |

I don't blame the northerners for storing their Camaros for the winter. My salvage yard just bought a van from a snowbird. The only thing holding the rust together was orange clay.

i would try removing the negative from the battery terminal for a few minutes reattach and start her up.. In these cars there is always stuff going on with the computer after the car is shut off it may need to just be hard reset..

Basically. The exact same thing happened to me. Car was sitting for about 6 weeks. Fired it up, Check Stabilitack whoopee lights were on. It was the battery, didn't want to hold a charge. Replaced it. $159 for a car battery?!?!? Anyways, if this happens to you give it a try

yes the dreaded stabilitrac message...damn thing shows up for anything, had a hose from my cheaper "get by" catch can get loose...... just fixed it....caused lean on both banks codes, MAP sensor code, and stabillitrac BCM or ECBM codes that regular code readers cant read. And yes cars are meant to be driven. And yes all from a little hose coming loose.....
