I don't see why the turbo 4 would slot above the v6.

Yeah, I'm just guessing since it is something new and it has the potential for easier mods. Like I said, uneducated guess.

Here is uneducated guess at what we will see with the 6th gen.

V6 - $25-$35 (Platinum). Just please don't call it a Berlinetta with the Platinum option
TI4 - $28-$38 if they build them. It will differentiate from the V6 as a performance alternative. RS
LT1 - $35-$49.9. This is your SS. High end assumes 1LE or MRC and Platinum.
LT4 - $51-$69.0. This is your Z/28. You can option it out like a V6, base up to Platinum. 1LE or MRC will be available.

No ZL1. See the C7. No ZR1.
It's only 2 years into the c7 life cycle, a zr1 could very well be in the works. How long did it take for a c6 zr1 to come out? 4 years? So yeah

Agreed. Definitely too early in the C7's life cycle to rule out a ZR1.

No doubt I could be wrong, but you do realize that the new Z06 now has a blown 600+ hp motor and that is handles like the outgoing Z06? The new Z06 is the best bang for the buck going! I believe they will do the same with the 6th gen. Time will tell. The other thing is that the ZL1 nomenclature is relatively unknown (just like the ZR1) prior to the most recent version of the ZL1. GM needs an "affordable" Z/28. Like I said, I'm guessing. I'm uneducated. We'll all know in 5-7 years how it all plays out.

I think GM is very good at hiding their Aces up their sleeve. You are correct about the z06, it is a hell of deal, heck it just went 10.4 @ 132 BONE STOCK, that's faster than the fastest zr1 stock time. I just can't help but think GM has a new hi po engine in the works.

BTW, i'm fine with 650, even IF...(i haven't heard anything official on a new GT500) Ford brings a GT500 with 750.

Let's not forget folks, the aftermarket will fill any demand in HP packages...and I don't know for sure, but from what i've read on Camaro5 ZL1 forum...there are some pretty basic mods you can do to get 50 to 100 HP gain.

I know, I know, 750 from GM Production line would be....AWESOME.

Once again, go buy a 2016 Camaro SS, and spend 20K in mods, and you'll have a 900 to 1000HP Camaro for the same price as a ZL1 with 650.
I just want to add that comparing modded cars to stock warrantied car is completly irrevelant. Anyone who modded their car heavily lost a shitt load of money in the process. Some plp want to take a break from that and enjoy a stock car or lightly modded at most that performs as good as older modded one. Like a Hellcat, Z06, ZL1, GT500, etc. For exemple, a Civic can be made faster than most stock camaro with the right amount of money (not so much).

A ZL1 with 650hp, at least, that is what they HAVE to build.
