Please help. I just found out a member of my family who is retarded just backed a pick up truck into my Camaro's front bumper.

Needless to say there's a trailer-hitch-shaped hole in my front bumper.

Can anybody out there advise how much a new bumper is installed? Preferably from Canadian members as that's where I will be getting it fixed and prices are lower in the US, so may not be accurate.

I'll be getting some estimates soon but right now I need something to ease my pain. I'm freaking out because I've taken great care to avoid mishaps like this and obviously this car is my pride and joy. At least I know who did it and they will be paying for it.

Go to gmpartsdirect.com go to bottom of page and click browse catalog. Next page put in car info in. The following page on the left page find bumper and there ya go. I think its between 200 and 400

Delivered to a U.S. Fed Ex hub from gmpartsdirect.com for $413.90 U.S.

U.S. List price is $427.97.

If your dealer can get you a better price (which I think they can) go with that.

But I'm not sure what they do in Canada as far as that goes. I know gmpartsdirect.com doesn't ship to Canada anyway.

Depending on the level of the retardation why was the operator even given a license ? The retarded guy down the street isnt allowed to drive. Seems like it shouldnt have had to happen and his guardians should be responsible.

I guess I should be positive because I'm getting a new front fascia free of charge. My current one does have a few stone chips. Not how I wanted it to happen though.

If you've been considering getting a Heritage Grille for your car, might as well get one now

You'd have to have the front bumper cover off for the install anyway!

I just saw a CGM front bumper for sale on EBAY 2 days ago, go check to see if it is still there? I think they were like asking $180.00 and painted? Can't go to wrong unless shipping is like a million dollars?
