Best city to vacation in
Hi! I have always wanted to travel to texas, it will be me and my girlfriend both in our 20s....what city would you recommend visiting....confusing which to choose with all the big cities you have

I'd have to say San Antonio. You could visit the river walk, Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the zoo (haven't been to the zoo in probably 20 years so I don't know what it's like anymore). The Alamo is a popular tourist stop.
Austin is another option to visit. 6th street is popular if you wanna get a glimpse of the night life. Lots of old historic buildings, entertainment, bars, clubs, etc in that area.

I say San Antonio as well. Austin is about an hour north and Houstn could be done in two hrs or so. If you wanted the beach Corpus Christi can be reached on about two and a half hrs. Easy day trips.
