Xpel Quote and General Questions

Looking to get the Xpel covering for the full hood, front fenders, front bumper and mirrors. Was quoted $1800. Two questions:

1. For those who have done this does this price sound right? If I get the full bumper but half hood, fenders and mirrors it's about $900.

2. Does it make sense to do the $900 package? My only reservation is that the vinyl line may be quite noticeable.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Feedback?

I would personally do the $900 package, the line is not that visible. Especially if you to keep the line clean and don't let dirt , wax, etc. build up. Do the rest the car in a sealant or coating.

I have done exactly this and no one sees the line until I show them. You will see it since you know it's there. That's really it.

Sounds a little high. I was quoted 700 for SUNTEK.

I would call all the manufactures and find out who has created a pattern exactly for the 16 SS or LT front ends. Once a film manufacturer has created a pre-cut pattern, the local installer has a much better chance of getting it 100% right, than if he has to cut film himself. It's worth a call and a question.

Xpel has made one for the ss front end just not the splitter. My shop did a custom cut for the splitter.

I paid 850 for a partial Xpel. The line is a non issue for me and people don't see it unless I point it out. Even I can't see it at most angles.

To clarify you did half of the hood, front bumper, front fenders, and a custom fascia extender wrap? How much did it run you total? I'm in the market for the same thing.

900$ is what it cost me. I also had the mirrors done and they cut a larger custom piece to cover the rear fender that already has a piece of factory plastic on it. The plastic in the back didn't cover enough and I was having paint issues just from sandy air running over it.

I am getting entire front end plus mirrors and door cups for $1400. I have a choice between Suntek film or Xpel.

imo A Pillars and front part of the roof is just as important as the front of the bumper and hood
