Thought so. That's like the 4th gen. Don't know why that guy thinks a higher ratio will be better for cruising, unless he's after more rpms while cruising.

Yeah the RPM's will go up for sure. Not much though. I think 3.73 are a great all around ratio, especially with the 6 spd. Maybe he means cruising at low speeds and the lower gear ratio will keep you in the powerband more

I hope they end up being an option! Not sure why they were shown if they won't be available.
Might be available as accessory wheels.

Are these the same style wheel as the ones on the cars at the reveal? Pretty sure they are. Yes I hope these are available as well at launch.

Wonder where and how the ugly front plate holder is going to me mounted. If I end up getting one, need to make sure it is not installed, just like my 2010.

The overall size of the car is what surprises me the most. 478cm long and 189cm wide. My compact hatchback is only 431cm long and 178cm wide, and it makes it slightly narrower than the Mustang S550 (191cm) and the same length.

Its sort of straddling the line between Compact and Mid-Size.

As an aside - the gear ratios on the 8-speed, even on the V8, appear to be geared for fuel economy. 2.77 final drive even with 8 cogs isn't great.
