A guy pulled up to me wile i was in my ZL1 and complemented me about my car so i said thank you. Then he went on to tell me he just bought a 2014 SS Camaro with a 427 package .( I never heard of it) . I said congratulation and drove off . Has any one heard of a SS Camaro with a 427 package ?

Yes, I've seen one once.

I think it's still a COPO-like deal, not exactly sure on the details but fairly certain that it can be done.

Could have gotten from a dealer who sells the SLP cars and gotten an SS with the SLP ZL427 package, or gotten a Z/28 and didnt know the difference, or was just BSing ?

You sure do hear people tell you some really crazy stuff. A month ago at a gas station a guy came over to give me a compliment on my car. He went on to tell me how he had a 2008 Camaro and he just loved it. He traded it in last year with 85,000 miles on it. I just smiled as I got in the car to leave and I said those 2008's were great cars.

Call me crazy, but I don't recall a "2008" Camaro. Was that the point of your post?

There was no 2008 Camaro. I believe the point to his post was that some people will just make stuff up to seemingly fit in.
