Nitrous or Procharger?

Which route is better? I dont wanna spend a whole lot of money, so im considering a base p1sc kit or a good nitrous setup. A8 2SS

If you only really want/need the extra power when you go to the drag strip then nitrous would be a choice for that extra power at a lower price point. Filling bottles for street driving is a PITA, even with multiple bottles filled and waiting to be swapped in for an empty one...you run out when you want the power the most.

Also I wholeheartedly agree a supercharger or turbo set up is easier to keep at a safe level for daily driving. Take that advise from someone who blew up an engines in car TWICE at the strip because I got too greedy for extra power and had issues with running lean. After that I went bored and stroked then sold the car before adding a supercharger..

Having had nitrous before, it's annoying. It was always empty. I couldn't drive it without it on. It's cheap, that's about all I liked about it. Nitrous would be more comparable to a PD Blower than a pro charger. Nitrous and PD blowers make power NOW.

Maggie has released a non-intercooled version for the 2016, adds about 100 RWHP for about $5K with a really easy install. Fully upgradeable at a later date to intercooled when funds allow. Just a thought.

So, if your gonna do some drag racing at the track and not punish on the street all the time the non intercooled would be pretty decent buy and more reliable the NOS. Have these been released yet?
