Very thorough! I made the same decision for almost all the same reasons. For me coming from a hot hatch platform, Mazdaspeed3, this was the most comfortable and familiar out of the three options.

turbo i4 heaven
We went from a 2010 2lt v6 to the 2017 i4 automatic with RS and tech package and could not be happier. Having a lighter and more agile camaro raises the fun factor immensely. I mean, don't get me wrong, if I had a ton of money I might have gone with the 2ss, after driving both and skipping the v6, we don't have any regrets. The car in either flavor is one giant leap forward from the previous gen and having the Fifty on the steering wheel is fricken sweet. We just took a 2000+ mile road trip and I was all smiles, except when I was nodding off and had to let the wife drive. lol
Mileage average was about 29mpg too. So this car checks all the blocks for what we needed/wanted for now. Looks exactly like the pic attached. |

Keith you are crazy, when you want the power you have it and the v6 just never has it although its the best v6 out there. Keith check out my new pics on the forum

Great writeup! Where are the photos of your 4 banger? I own a 5th gen 1SS and love it, but I decided to test drive 2.0T and enjoyed it. I actually would buy it as a daily driver.
