Crazy to think that "high performance" in the 80s were 15 second quarter mile times and traps around 80mph!
Nice video though, live me some old school Camaro!

I miss my 86' four eyed Fox and the blood curdling howl of that EFI 302. I miss it like hell. |

Those fox bodies are light as hell but I always thought they looked like escorts.

Sadest years for the look of the Mustang if you ask me.

LOL I was born in 70's, I remember the 80's just fine.
Great time for music and movies, bad time for fashion and cars with the exception on the Buick GNX/Grand National and a few others. But I had way more fun in the early 90's. |

HAHA! Eighites and early nineties rocked...and I still have my thirdgen. I miss the ability to scarf up a 1970's car and turn it into nice weekend brawler on a "I work at Long John Silvers" budget. My 1975 Nova was running 12.0 at 110MPH for a total of about $5000...including the price of the car. And, we could afford to put gas in it. Those days are gone!

When I was a teenager in the 90's. Gas was 0.79 for 87 octane, 0.89 for 89 Octane, and 0.99 for 93 Octane! $5.00 - $10.00 dollars could fill your tank up depending on the type of vehicle you drove. You could ride for days off those prices! I wish the prices was like that today! My Camaro would LOVE that! And I would too!
