Come And Get Your Love (Bugs)!

I don't know how you Florida folks can stand the Lovebugs this time of year. And, as sometimes happens, the last tropical storm that moved through FL a week (or so) ago brought some up to south GA. Y'all must spend a bunch of time getting those horny little buggers off your cars - and they will damage your paint. Anyway, if any FL folks are headed to south GA anytime soon... please take your Lovebugs back with you when you head back to FL. Thanks.

Yea we get them bad in Louisiana. I have to clean my bumper daily. I just use dryer sheets and water, wipes them off easy. This season I may just plastidip my entire front bumper though lol.

I was in Orlando last weekend and the front of my truck was plastered with them when I got there. They may not be in Orlando, but there are plenty between there and the GA/FL line. Fortunately, I went through torrential rain on the way back to GA and it beat most of them off. Nasty little buggers and there were lots of 'em on the golf course today.

A few years back near Orlando I drove thru swarms of the bugs. Waited 2 days to clean them off the front of my Corvette and the clear coat came off where they were. Ended up getting the nose repainted.
