Not going to use my Camaro for 4 weeks. Do I need to do anything special to it?

What the title says ^^

I am leaving to USA for work for 4 weeks and will not be using my Camaro SS 2012 for that time obviously.

Is there something specific that I need to do? The car is standing in a cold garage (can get down to 0 degrees celcius).

Or do I just need to lock it and leave it as is?

Cheers!

I left mine in my garage for over 3 months in the winter (I live in Minnesota) without starting it because I was out of town. When I came back it started just fine.. So you'll be fine just locking it up and leaving it. I'd just make sure you leave it with a full tank of gas

I'd throw fuel stabilizer in the tank, fill the tires, and lock it.

Apologize to it and beg its forgiveness...

Great stuff! I'm used to my Audi which I always had flat battery on when returning back after being away for just a week... The alarm drained the battery completely.

So I should not have to do anything with the battery even if its just for 4 weeks then?

I will fill up the fuel fully and leave it with a smooth kiss goodbye then

Mine sits in my garage all Winter long (3-4 months). I do nothing to it. It has been fine through two seasons now.

If you want peace of mind, buy a small battery tender and leave it hooked up. They typiaclly go for around $35 I think.

Otherwise, for only 4 weeks? you should be just fine. Think of all the cars on dealer lots that sit that long before they get sold.

Everything will be broken when you pull it out. Best bet would be to sell it to someone in a warmer climate before you leave.

Thanks for all the inputs! Feel much more prepared now!

Next issue is to try to find as many Camaro parts as possible during my stay in the states so that I can get them with me home in my luggage without paying taxes n shit =)

Let the air out of all the tires, the air gets really bad just sitting there.
