Who cares you do know N/A engines are a thing of the past now. If someone wants it bad enough then they can fork over the $60,000 needed for the 2014 Z/28. Supercharging is where every manufacturer is going now. Even the high end exotics are going with Hybrid engines in the future.

My prediction is the Z06 will be a little over 600hp and then make room for a over 700hp ZR-1 Stingray. This will also put an end to people bringing up why GM hasn't made a engine more than the GT500 engine which doesn't help a car unless it has the proper suspension anyway which this Corvette will.

LT4 is supposedly 660hp, based on a VERY reliable source that leaked the CAD images months ago

Because it's a 600-650 hp Corvette that will undoubtedly be faster than my GT500.

Don't even get me started on the worthlessness of the article you linked. Based on the information given the thing could have been titled Z06 spied with 800 horsepower motor and it'd be equally as credible.

I know this a Corvette thread, however I can't help by bringing the Mustang.

With the new Mustang there seems to be a major change on the platform. Imagine if the new Mustang can still fit the GT500 engine and come below or at around 60k (as it currently is) It really seems as if the current Camaro will be murdered and the Mustang GT500 will most definitely be on par or coming real close to the Corvette Z06. I also can't imagine the Z06 having a price around the 60k mark.

2. Comparing the Mustang to the Corvette is retarded, as the Corvette is a sports car with a completely different price range. Try some versions of the the 911, GTR, etc.

I highly doubt the Mustang will pose much of a threat to the upcoming Z06, as it still is in the limbo between muscle and sports. I've been saying for years that Ford needs to revive the GT40 again and make it a 'vette competitor.
