The only good thing about Lovebugs is... when they splatter on your vehicle, you kill two at a time.

I drove my Grand Prix from Florida to Biloxi last weekend on I10.
Dang glad I left the Camaro at home! PAIN IN THE BUTT BUGS. (got lucky, picked up some car wash money!)

Really bad here now. We call them Butt bugs from when my son was 8 that is what he called them the first time he saw them at Disney World. Now we live where they are at.. You can not keep your car clean unless you leave it in the garage. With the rain we have gotten this year almost 24 inches does it really matter?

1.I don't have a gun like that 2. A good waxing like nu finsih on the front before I go works well to protect against the acids 3. painters tape on the leading edges 3. Any waterless or rinseless solution like turtle wax rinseless in a Windex bottle is good when you have no hose.. a complete soaking with hot water when you get home...always soak rather then SCRUB..... |

Agreed...after long trips where i get any bug splatters i go to carwash and use the presoak in the manual bay...it puts the suds on with hot water...i let it soak until suds start dripping off, then rinse and it gets most of them off pretty good...
