Went to the Salvage Yard

Dropped by a salvage yard in Vero yesterday to pick up some trim pieces and seals that are discontinued and I noticed they only had two Gen5s, four Gen6s, and an entire section (well over a dozen) of Mustangs. Just sayin...

Damn, that's nice. My local yard doesn't have any of those cars. It's tough to find something newer than 2007 at mine. Sucks lol

Oh, I don't live in Vero. I had to go down to Jupiter to pick up other stuff and dropped by because I had seen their ads on Facebook. I don't have any yards around me, at least that I know about. I don't think they realize the value of some of that stuff as they were just letting complete 2SS interiors mold from being open to the weather. Maybe it's too much work to remove them and store them.

I've seen many 3rd Gen Fbodies at the UPullIt Yard in Fort Lauderdale quite a number of years back. They had them all lined up in a row. They also had a few fox body mustangs as well and the later years. I need to check around my area up here and see what they have.

Will do! Next time I see their ad, I'll give them a call before I go down.

No I haven't. I would have gone by there while I was in Jupiter if I realized they were there.

To be honest, I transposed two numbers to the address for the one in Vero and ended up down a dirt road about a quarter mile away. I thought I had gone back in time to my youth and was concerned someone might mess with my car while I was talking to a guy pulling a motor in a dirt floor garage. I'm getting too old to be trying to wrap a tire iron around someone's head and the Camaro don't even have a tire iron.

The guys at M&K were nice enough and even loaned me a ratchet with a 13mm. A little pricey, but I'm probably just cheap.
