Does anyone have a pic with the SS badge removed from the front bumper? I am thinking about doing this.

I switched all my badges to the GM black versions. Looks MUCH better. I ordered all my badges from gm parts guy and all are easy install. Did not use heat gun (not needed at all), used dental floss wedged under the badge and goo gone to clean the M3. Took 5 minutes.

Is there any way to order that block that the emblem attaches to? Had grill replaced and the block isn't there.

I tried hzisfrom1994's solution and it worked really fast - thank you, but I dropped the rear piece behind the grille and lost it there. Is there any way to open up that space behind the grille and remove it? I cant reach it by hand and cant even see it with a light.
I've noticed there is a horizontal radiator behind there, can that be removed without too much hassle?

I think you need to pull off the front bumper. Much less scary than it sounds, no need to even lift the car, although having smallish hands does help when trying to reach the top bolts.
