Spindle air duct adapters for brake cooling

I've seen a couple of forum users mention these, but haven't found details on customizing these for a reliable 5th gen brake cooling setup suitable for track use. I'm looking for a good alternative to the Quantum kit.

Anyone?

Ive been thinking about trying to 3d print a replacement for the metallic cover that has a spot for a hose. Another probably easier option would be to have a hole cut on the gm part and weld a adapter for ducting into it.

You could find a set of Z28 ducts and Gen6 deflectors there’s article out there that say this actually better setup than a hose an spindle adapters.

I have both (not yet installed). I would be interested to see that article to understand what is "better" about it. Seems like focusing air flow directly to the rotors would be optimal. I had planned to use an adapter to directly connect the Z/28 duct to a flexible duct hose at the wheel well...if I can find a spindle adapter.

I also have a set of 6th gen arms I was considering installing (which would obviously work well with the deflectors), but didn't get that far and am on the fence about using it due to the impact on alignment.

There is other articles out there but I can’t find the one I’m looking for but this is a good start.
