Agreed!!! Why ruin the appearance mods that make a 1LE unique. Sure its removable, but who pays over $3000(from what I have seen) for something they dont intend to keep on the car for a LONG time.

Somebody with lots of money and no real clue on what they are buying and just likes the look will likely be the buyer.

you would think after the dealer spent all that money on a full wrap they would removed the old wrap and redone the hood!

we did have the hood re-wrapped. It is no different I can assure you it is just showroom lights that make it look like the hood doesnt match.

We didnt look at it like that when we did it.

Kinda thought about it like, the factory took the idea of Vinyl wraps and exposed you to it, just a taste. Wanted to finish the job and wrap the whole thing. Its such a professional looking job and yes, it has been quite controversial at work as well.

Some people hate it. Some people love it. Some think we should have had the door jams wrapped as well, I look at as hey your still buying a red car.....with kind of a funky cosmetic treatment. Totally wish I could afford to do this to my car!

I was just about to say... the door jambs need to be wrapped, it immediately caught my eye negatively. Personally, of course.

And it may take that to sell it, but its still a red car, has red SS's. Red Calipurs, is a cosmetic treatment, and I would say is about 60 / 40 love it hate it.

of the 60 that love it 30 want the door jams done, and of the 40 who hate it....39 of em still think we should do the door jams. But they dont count

I like the look of it, but I also think the door jambs need to be wrapped. I still like the contrast of the red paint and the black accents a little more. It looked awesome when I came to pick up my car.

i like the door jams not wrapped. i makes it look like an accent. id almost say that the roof ditch and maybe some other places to accent should have the wrap removed

Retarded price...

Sounds like a customer ordered it that way and backed-out.

I agree, that would be my guess. Don't really see why a dealership would take an already pretty hard to get your hands on car and make it appeal to a pretty narrow market of people. Never know though I guess, I've seen dealerships do stranger things with cars on their floor

Maybe they're trying to appeal to the 2% of the 2%
