5th gen price...drop?

With the announcement of the 2017 1LE will 5th gen prices drop drastically?

Or will they hold strong thru the 6th gen 1LE life cycle?

What do y'all think?

I say prices of a Gen5 1LE will hold like a Medium Well Steak in the pecking order of things, metaphorically speaking hea.

The rest of the line will sell like hot dogs, either way

I think a fully decked out 17 1LE will be about 10k more than the 14 I got, this will only firm up resales expectations in my opinion.

That said, my 14 went up in value the day I bought it. It will always be a dollar more than anyone would be willing to pay.

I still think the 14-15 1le looks better then the 17's.... I just bought a new 15 1le for north of 34k, one of the last 4 in the state of Michigan from a dealer. It will be a personal preference and our models will hold their value, and some will love the 6th gen more then anything. IF someone wants something enough they will spend the money on the exact one they want.

I owe less than 14K on my DD and I could care less what it is worth. I enjoy my car every day and when things wear out, I'll upgrade/replace those things and keep on driving. It was cold this morning, and my heated Recaro's felt so good driving to work, I took the long way to get there. Man I love this car. With the expected pricing of the Gen 6 1LE, I doubt I would have bought one. Sure, I could of financed a couple of more years and increased the note by a couple of hundred dollars to get one, but at that point I would be considering other options.
