I use a set of $10 yard sale steel ramps with wood stair steps that I add on.
I also use set of old rubber car mats to keep those ramps from sliding on the shop floor.

I built my own ramps with 5x 10' 2x10s. Mine is lowered with a Pedders adjustable suspension that leaves me about 4" of ground clearance. I just measured the overhang to the center of the front tire then made sure I didn't have more than 3" of rise in that distance. They are heavy, but they are both stable and sturdy.

I've already taken care of that a few months ago. Long after the wood ramp project. Deck and stairs are 25 years old. Look better now?

No thanks, I'll pass. Drinking stale coffee while they strip the drain plug and then fill it up with the cheapest bulk oil they can find is not for me. I'll just do it myself.

I am getting these this summer. I'm tired of jacking up the car and Jack stands.

The odds of it getting over filled by the new junior employee who's yakking on his phone? My coworkers Tahoe barely ran - lucky there wasn't any permanent damage from the pistons slapping roughly 4 quarts too much of a very black oil.

I insist on being the only skills challenged person working on my car.
