Look in to the Texas Speed VVT Cams.

Their VVT 3.2 makes 120hp over a stock L99 at the flywheel.

Ive tried asking Texas Speed but they wont respond. Whats the difference or improvement from a VVT stage 3 cam and the new 3.2s? new tech or different grind or what?

Nothing is free. A bigger cam usually doesn't make more torque below 4000rpm. If you want high rpm horsepower then put in a longer duration higher lift cam.

The cam you list sounds good if you include good valve springs so you don't break things. You could gain 50 or 70hp at higher rpms.

Those specs might as well keep the stock cam IMO and call it stealth.....and you did not even mention the lift..LOL

This cam has a lot of LSA with added in timing for running...Stealth along with not too much duration and the lift obviously is trying to make up then for the inadequate LSA and duration, you want more power you would have say a 112 LSA no + and a 230 up duration on both for that lift more in the night fury range... Why think about that cam. Are the Nazi engine police really that bad in in Saudi Arabia? I thought you could buy gas there for like 25 cents a gallon......Or are you the dude who has to keep the car mild because dad drives it also?

Frankly just like any engine the more you change things out the more your likely to F something up and scrape bearings pulling the cam out again, IMO I would just stick with the cam you have as your not going to gain much....... The torque to improve is based on varying factors the best way to improve your torque would be a much better cam, stroke the block, or Forced induction. Each would have effects in that order weakest to strongest effects. You would have to look at exactly the same engine with a comparison with just a cam swap with a dyno sheet to show the torque difference from other cams or stock in a comparison.

I would think that would be a mild cam, large LSA better for low end torque but your an automatic which is bad for low end torque, why not just get a throttle controller....a larger LSA and the effects of it can be found online through comp cams, the duration of the cam effects opening and closing events and most people would recommend you use more duration rather than lift which is hard on the valve train. http://www.compcams.com/Pages/413/ca...ion-angle.aspx

so what you want more power and good drive ability and stealth....you should be looking for the perfect exhaust with some cut outs not playing with the cam repeatedly but going more for power with the cam......

That is impressive. I wasn't thinking about how the VVT helps in making the low and top end better with it too until looking over the dyno graphs.

I wonder how much those mods cost. Even their 1.2 cam makes good power.

I bought their kit with all upgrades, so close to $1,300 complete.

It can be bought lower depending on what parts you need.

Select options here: https://www.texas-speed.com/p-260-ts...t-package.aspx

Probably the best $1,300 you could spend because I don't know of any other bolt-on for that price that adds up to 130.5hp (TSP VVT 4.2).

Here are all their VVT cams:
