If that is salt water the car is toast. Even fresh water and sand is going to harm it. STUPID.

Stolen, borrowed, rented... or perhaps there's a lot of beer and/ or other chemical substances involved.

I knew a kid in high school who inherited a ton of money on his 18th birthday. He immediately started buying cars, really nice, new cars. But, he also bought lots of coke (his PLAN was to become a smuggler, but, unfortunately, he ended up using most of his product... it's tough to stay awake on those long drives!). With awesome cars, and lotsa coke, AND the belief that his cash supply was unlimited, he drove like the guy in that video. In fact, one of the cars he bought was an IROC... damn that thing was beautiful. Took him a couple of weeks to wrap it around a tree, and move on to the next car (which, incidentally, was a Corvette, which he promptly lost in a poker game... the only car out of his run that he did not lose to a major accident).

The last time I ever saw that guy was about a year after inheriting the money. He wanted to borrow $2 so he could put a little gas into his girlfriend's mom's barely- running rust- bucket Monza and try to get to the next town over. Not a penny of his "unlimited" inheritance remained.

"It's a rental, don't be gentle!" Somehow reminded me of an old bud who topped off his battery with a Schlitz Tallboy. Killed it...

I am not a big fan of getting into other people's business or what they do with their car, but this is abuse, and should be punishable by...um, something bad!

That poor car does not deserve this.

If it is a rental, some poor schlep like me will buy it off a used lot, looking pristine, and then have nothing but crazy electrical/mechanical issues with it until they get tired of it and dump it on someone else.
