Rotofab... I liked the look. The whoosh when you step on it is a "take it or leave it" sortof thing for me.

That's the only intake I would probably trade mine for or sell. ????
Sorry I didn't take any videos when I installed. And with the MRTs and solo HFCs you probably won't even hear the Injen lol

how's the sound? Did you noticed a more aggressive sound with the CAI then you did with a stock exhaust?

If you could switch CAI brands.. would you?

Thanks
1. RotoFab.

2. The sound with the stock exhaust was awesome. Great intake growl. With aftermarket exhaust (I added after the intake), it's less noticeable.

3. No.

I have the k&n. I bought it before I knew about any other brand intake for the Camaro (I believe it was my 1st or 2nd mod) I felt a difference in power for sure. However the cai is suppose to give like 1 or 2 HP more I think. I really like the enclosed box for it. Kind of wish I could make one for the k&n...

If I can just toss a question into this thread...

which of these requires the least amount of modification? Such as keeping exiting mounting points, no drilling, etc.

Do any allow for keeping the washer bottle where it is?

Most require no modifications, but some require relocating of the washer bottle . The CAI brand I have did not require either.

Thanks! I'll be doing some research, and probably order one in about a month or two. I just ordered (and waiting for) a Vitesse throttle controller, and will probably order a ported throttle body at some point.

Contact us if you have any questions, I would be happy to help you. And like the poster above said, our unit requires 0 modification, is a breeze to install, and requires no tuning. Thanks and take care!

Is there a specific model? Could you provide a link?

I went with Roto-Fab because I liked the looks of it over CAI.
I removed the big Roto-fab sticker...
I saw a Mustang that had an Air Raid cai, it had more of a factory look to it. I thought it looked pretty slick. You may want to check into that.
