Need new tires....again.

Thinking about switching from the OEM’s to Michelin pilot sport A/S 3 plus. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks

They're not available in stock sizes, though they have sizes that are close enough to stock.

I run Continential DWS all season. They come in OEM spec also. Will put the F1's back on after winter.

I'm having the Contis installed next week. How do you like them?

I went back and forth in my mind between the Continentals and the Michelin’s. Got the Michelin’s today (rear only for now) and drove home in a cold rain thru Austin rush hour traffic. I’m happy with them. Waaaay better than the OEM’s.

I’m confused. Can u please explain to me which numbers indicate they aren’t stock sizes? I read an article on how to read them but I must have missed something. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 plus say they are
275/35 R20 102Y.

Thanks

They come in stock size for the rear 275/35/20, but for the front; do not come in 245/40/20.

Also....My boss got a set and he hates them....most noisy all-season tires he's ever owned. He's got a set of Continental's on order.

I’ve also swapped into continental dws from f1. I daily drive my SS, but there a downside of having non flat ( run into flat or get a nail ). I don’t track or drag my car, would buy pairs with aftermarket rim/tire combo if I did

Since you have the rears already, I think the Michelins come in a 255/35/20 size as the closest to stock.

Thanks. Or I might just get the Conti’s on the front and when it comes time to replace the rears again get them as well. I’m still good on the fronts. They r the 2nd set of OEM’s. Seems like I need new rears about every 6 months. She’s my daily driver and I have a 94 mile round trip commute 3 nights a week. At least I can have fun on my way to work. . Rear tires never feel like a long term commitment for me. Lol.

Just to add my exp guys with the tires I have, nitto nt555g2, they are not as good as a drag tire as the stock eagles f1s, they are much quieter though noticeably, and they are way better in ample rain downpoor, they also look way more aggressive, but I won't buy them again because I like to drag race and they won't hook.

I just put a set of Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 all-seasons on and so far am quite happy. They are supposed to pull 1 G. I got them up to .87 on a round-about. Earlier only got .82 on the F1's. They are 3 decibels quieter too. These are the "ultra performance" all-seasons.

I drove in the rain today and pulled .42G on a round-about. I'm not going to push past that....
