Arrow RPM 1,000hp 6th Gen Camaro Build | Pics & Video

Figured we would start a build thread for this car we are doing for a customer.

The original plan was to just do forged pistons in the stock LT1, but after talking with the customer and discussing his goals/plans for the car we knew we had to step it up a bit more.

We gave a ring to our buddies at LME (Late Model Engine) and spec'd out a 416ci LT1. Complete with

- Callies Magnum Series Stroker Crankshaft
- Callies Ultra Billet 6.125" H-Beam Rods
- Wiseco/LME Custom Forged Pistons w/Upgraded Heavy Wall
- Clevite H Series Main Bearings
- ARP LT1 Main Stud Kit
- Balanced and Blueprinted

We are also going to be doing

- RPM Custom LT1 DOD Delete Camshaft Package
- F1-A Procharger
- American Racing 2" Long Tube Headers w/ 3" catless x-pipe
- RPM Custom Low Side Fuel System w/ LT4 Fuel Pump and LT4 Fuel Injectors
- ProMeth Methanol System
- Monster LT1-S Triple Disc Clutch

Tear down begins

Out with the old

The LME engine arrives

We are going to be upgrading the valve springs, pushrods, etc, but using the stock heads.

Cam is in.

We will add pictures & video as we go

Some updates will also be in our youtube web series so make sure to check it out.

Hi guys this is my car that Fran and the team are building... The intention for the car is a roll race, highway monster. That I can also cruise around in with all the amenities. I believe the have this well in hand with the build. Due to some delays and subsequent talks with the guys we decided that to get to 1k at the wheels or more. The drop in pistons and D1X wouldnt suffice. So LME and their 416 along with an F1A got added. Looking forward to seeing what we make with her, I have a number in my head on e85 so we shall see what happens.

What are you doing to the transmission to keep up with the added horsepower?

The trans will stray stock for now, for my intended use it should stay together for a while LOL. I wont be drag racing this car, it will be a roll race car for the 1/2 and runway type events. With occasional cough, cough highway pull. Beyond the clutch we will see how it does on go from there. Fingers crossed

On the home stretch now!

The Procharger and Intercooler are on. Just have to finish up wiring the meth and fuel system.
