2016 camaro ss tps wire color for throttle body

I need to tap into my throttle body TPS wire for NOS activation, who knows the correct color I should use to tap into?

They make harnesses that plug in between your factory wiring and your TPS with a TPS trigger wire present...

I would personally NOT tap into factory wiring if I could avoid it, especially for the TPS. I have seen enough bad shit happen with TPS and throttle bodies and chasing wiring for weeks to figure out the cause.

I looked LPE site and they make them for the GEN 5 but not GEN 6 and I called then on the phone.

Where did u see one for GEN 6? I would prefer this method as well.

I would check with nitrous outlet and nitrous express.

You also MAY be able to make your own using parts from https://bmotorsports.com/shop/ if you can find the right plugs.

I purchased products from NOS Express and talked to them on the phone and no help there either. Fail

I actual purchased this product from them and instructions only say in their diagram connect to TPS factory wire.

With a tap...hell no LOL.

I guess I am really no help for you man, because there is absolutely zero way I would tap into the TPS wire on the factory wiring harness... just asking for trouble IMO.

IF thats the only choice I would go to a high end stereo shop or race shop and have them take apart the TPS connector, cut back the insulation on the TPS wire and solder a wire in place and then heat shrink it all, then put it all back together... no way would I ever use a T-Tap or any other type of tap.

That’s what I am going to do, as you explained. Maybe my tapping into the line without explain how I am doing it got people up in arms. But doing as you said and very capable of doing it, just need the color of wire.

I do know I can put the volt meter on it and get the wire the reads 0-5 volts or 4.5 -5 volts at load or go thru pedal pin #15.

I just really needed help on the color not how to do it.

Any progress on this? I looking for the same information. I've heard the black/yellow wire on the pedal it the tps wire but have not verified this.

This is an old post but I am on my 2nd nitrous build currently and found this solution for the TPS wire on the pedal thru another post on Camaro6. (Jorge)
It would have been nice to have it a few years ago. I have bugged Lingenfelter, JMS and NX Express to make a similar plug and play for the RPM green wire to no avail.
