People cant hear me on phone calls

A couple months ago I got my 2021 LT1 and people struggle to hear me during phone calls. I'm using a paired Iphone 13 with the latest update and using Carplay. I try to compensate by talking very loud but still really doesnt do the trick other than give me a headache afterward. I've checked for a setting like a mic input level but dont see anything like that on the car or phone settings. What's the remedy? Where are the microphone locations? Could they be blocked? Help me please. I didn't have this problem in my last camaro.

I have a similar issue. There was a post on this a while ago that mentioned the microphone can be blocked. I think it is located in the A-pillar trim.

I’ve read that in some cases, there is a leak behind the windshield that wasnt sealed properly around the area of the mic in the a pillar and wind is interfering.

Don't know Carplay, but for AA, I can make calls through it and through the infotainment menu at any point in time. Can you do that with Carplay and have you tried it? I have seen two AA users have to do it that way.

I found the thread. Thanks for the lead. Now time to figure out how to remove the A-pillar to determine the microphone location. Any tips?
