I give up
Well I tried running 11's on street tires with a m6 but I couldn't. I ran a 12.3@118 with a 2.175 60'. I guess I won't hit the track until I upgrade my axles and get some drag radials.

That is not a bad time for stock tires. I am running a 12.5 on BFG Sport Comp 2s.

You need to drop that 60'. Stock tires at Royal Purple Raceway I cut a 1.82 '60. Track conditions and weather are a huge factor.

The 60' is my weak point as well. I am averaging a 2.0-2.1. Next time I go to the track I will have the two-step and Nitto NT05 Drag Radials. Hoping to drop the 12.5 to a low 12.

That seems to be the problem with most m6 owners. Roll racing bring em on lol

I know what you mean. I was getting 1.9 60' on my invos and stock clutch. Now I have a street slayer and I'm trying to learn how to launch again.

I know exactly what you mean. Myself and a buddy of mine both were ripping off 1.8's on Pirellis and mid to low 12's prior to being cammed and having twin disc clutches added. Since then, neither of us have been able to launch our cars and get below 2.0 at all on DR's. Mainly too scared of breaking axles. Never seen it happen but are too scared to dump the clutches and have it happen to us. Since upping the torque launching has been a lot harder. But like you said....come see me on a roll and it is a different story

I am guessing you are not a fan of the 2 step on the NA car. I never heard of this either until about 6 months ago looking through the forum. There is a lot of success stories using it. The 2 step also incorporates the no lift shift feature that should help. The good thing is that its less than $200 so if it doesn't help not too much money is lost after the resell.

This is what makes drag racing challenging. More power equals harder 60Ft. Try slipping the clutch aggressively fast kinda like dumping it but kinda not. That's my sweet spot. DRs will help ALOT. Basically this is what makes it hard. Anybody can gas it from a roll. But from a dig separates skilled drives from a weekend racer. Get a proper set up don't worry about power to much and focus on a complete car and it'll come. That's still an amazing time to run.

I need to get some axles and drag radials so that I can really start playing with it. But now a auto ss has caught my attention. So we'll see where this goes

I've cut a personal best of 1.62 on the P-zero's. It is possible but hard as hell if you don't have the right clutch or technique. I had an ACT and it suffered from a wandering engagement point. Frustrating pain in the a$$ to get consistent launches. I'd cut a 1.7 and follow that with a 2.0 doing the exact same type of launch.
