Wet sump issues AMP

I'm I silly, to put another wet sump LS/LT on AMP, after hurting my LS3? The last long straight/turn, stacked up my oil on one side, reducing oil pressure and causing lifter damage.

Just got a 23 ZL1. Is the LT4 better equipped to handle this track? Novice driver, stock tire/brakes. Anything I can do to safe guard LT4. Want to keep this car stock w/warranty.

Thanks for all replies, already learned alot here.

+8000 track miles on LT4 @ advanced pace. Check level cold before each track day. I leave 15w50 in it year round (Georgia) & change oil ~500 track miles (4-6 days), no issues. The Gen6 V8 cars 10 quart deep pans seem to perform well.

No worries with the LT4. About 8-10k track miles on mine. COTA has a long carousel (turns 16-18). High speed straights into hair-pins so hard braking. No issues. 15w-50 per GM for high g-loading. Also run year around.

These Gen 6 motors are pretty stout. The only issues that people have been having is oil pump failures on the LT4.... Katech makes an upgraded version if it's something you are worried about.

But if you have a waranty i wouldn't worry

Just did AMP all day 2 weeks ago with no issues at all, it was my first time there and I liked how the track was labeled well for turn in, apex, and turn out. I didn't find the last sweeper to be to bad but a guy hit the strait carrying to much speed and dipped his left rear in the grass and that was it for him unfortunately. Tank slappers are the worst!

The B&B across the street called Racers Retreat was awesome and it's highly recommended. Also did Road Atlanta and had a great time there, we'll be back!
