Sorry for the poor pics, but I didn't take any after install because the car is dirty. Now it's dark outside. Opted for the OEM ZL1 spoiler to match my splitter and side skirts. Will look even better when I put my summer gloss black MRR 017 wheels back on.

I let them drive mine as well - from Atlanta to NW Alabama (my dealer had to take a cadillac that had a 20% red tag on it to the dealer that had my camaro as trade. They dont pay kids to do that - my dealer usually hires retired folks who want a little extra cash to make those type runs.

Saw a salt truck the night before so washed her and tucked her away for a few months

Not strictly today, but the past couple days I did some preparations for the LT SEMA grille + RS headlights install (at last!).
Since my car is garnet red and the grille isn't offered by GM with inserts in this color, I bought the one with primed only inserts and decided to paint these myself despite having zero experience with either car paint work, or polishing for that matter. (BTW this grille costs the same as those with painted inserts, go figure :/) Now if only I had known what I got myself into... but, some youtube videos and a "few" purchases later (touch-up paint, clear coat, 3M sandpapers from 1000 to 5000 grit, compound, polish, dual action polisher...) and after a pretty arduous learning path, I now have garnet red tintcoat inserts with a look that's 99% like the factory paint job---perfect color match and same shine, yay Three coats of base+color, two coats of clear, inevitable orange peel properly wet sanded and compounded away, polished to match the paint on the car. Some very minor paint flaws that I just don't have the energy to fix, because I guess I'd have to sand everything off down to the primer and rebuild. All that said, I'm honestly not sure I have a future in the automotive paint business. This whole thing may sound trivial to the initiated, but it's a major accomplishment to this noob, and I'm pretty proud I didn't give up after one or two false starts. Will tackle the actual grille + headlight install after Christmas, hopefully it'll be relatively easy, as I already know how to get the bumper off, it's just the grille replacement that will take some help. Well done looks good. If you do those things you learn to appreciate the price from the Aftermarket.
