Talking MT first drive review 2024 Mustang GT

Hi Guys, It seems that the 2024 Mustang GT did not bring nothing new to the table, still it can't beat the 7 year Alpha chassis of the Camaro SS. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2...t-test-review/

Well, you can hang your hat on that as the Camaro dies again.

I didn’t expect the new GT to be any better or quicker than the S550 GT. Why? Because the S650 is simply a refreshed S550. New sheetmetal, a cool dual intake, a badly designed interior, and additional weight. Same bones underneath.

It is interesting though, mustang7g community stopped posting first tests and reviews. Normally motortrend tests goes on a forum in an instant. Maybe i am not looking at the right spot.

Underwhelming. More power, but more weight. Sounds like it is still no match for the Alpha platform in terms of handling.

Throttle House was looking for it to be a bit more of a Camstang (pronounced slightly different from how it's spelled )...

Being a 1960s boy racer, we'd always say there's no substitute for cubic inches. In the 70s, we learned that torque motivates and the sooner it comes on, the quicker the car.
Mustang a bit down in that department vs Camaro 6.
Overall though, a pretty decent effort by Ford albeit pricey. I liked my 1982 Mustang GT and really liked my 08 Bullitt.
