I know now I'm being petty but I would be curious to see what sequence in convertibles I am. I know I'm 2219 out of the 5982 but would love to know what I am out of the 717.

After I type this and read it aloud I sound like a diva. I need a Snickers bar.

Finally got the car in the body shop Wednesday (guy decided to try and dodge his insurance company and me) from the collision last Thursday. They called me today, they are replacing the fender, blending the paint on the hood (and replacing stripes due to it) and repainting\blending the door because of the chips. Also having to repaint part of the A pillar due to the fender smacking it and chipping it which I didn't realize.

Sucks and I really really hope they have a great painter who makes it flawless, wish me luck!

I drive mine pretty much every day. It was in the 30s here this morning. The Pilots do get a little slippery, but easy enough to handle with some caution - nothing like the Goodyear runflats. They were ridiculous when it got down even in the 40s.

Watch out for potholes with your MRR 1LE replicas, though. With the super low-profile front tires and an inner flange that apparently sticks out past the edge of the tire I found out the hard way that it's way too easy to catch the flange on the edge of a pothole and bend it. Didn't even hurt the tire, which I had full road hazard on, but had to replace the rim, which was of course on my dime.

Look on AutoTrader.com. I saw at least 5 on dealers lots plus a couple of private sellers that have them. Coupes and Verts.

Is there another seat in that boat? I'll supply my own Snickers bar.

That sucks man. Good to know they perform better than the runflats and thanks for the pothole tip!

And one of those 699 is trashed. I looked at it before I bought my A8.
