The numbers are in...

550whp and 510wtq @6pounds of boost.

Boom! And thats at 5000ft elevation. Ivan said I will prob make another pound of boost in Tucson.
I cannot express how amazing the guys at SW Speed are. I dropped off my car on Monday about 2pm and I drove out of the shop Thursday night about 8pm. They were super busy with other installs and they still made mine a priority since I drove out there from AZ. Worked looong nights to hook me up. I'll post dyno sheets soon. If I recall, Lucy is putting down 450+ tq around 3300rpm.

FYI everyone in Albuquerque wants to race EVERYWHERE lol. Played with a Fox body 5.0 with a big and loud ass turbo on the highway. Car pulls like a beast.

Great numbers! Are you only on 6 lbs of boost?? I have the same numbers currently but im around 15lbs boost, no LTHs - nothing ported with 2.55 upper - and 65 lb injectors, cold-air etc

I have my upgrades set to go in when I get back w/ Cordes Performance Racing to do my LTH, cutouts, porting of SC snout & TB, upg HX resevoir, custom cam, new plugs, exchange lineloc and retune.

I am also trying to reason with a 2.38 upper. Can't wait!

Slick, Ivan was saying they usually see about a 120whp increase on the Lsa conversions. The ls9 cam i think made up the rest. I have catless headers too

Yes, but I am running a true LSA w/ Lingenfelter mods. I believe my prior tune was mild...but with the LTs, porting and cam, I am hoping to be well over 600 whp..then in future upgrade HX, fuel system and go with E85.

But I am still wondering about you only using 6lbs of boost?

I see what you mean know. I was using my phone a pit stops coming back from NM. Maybe the stock headers are holding you back? Not sure, tune makes a big difference. The first pull on the dyno with the tune that I had after the LSA install was only 470hp\490tq. Then it continued to climb after he played with it. I'm sure after heads and cam you will be well over 600.
Funny thing, now that I'm like 2000 feet lower in elevation here in Tucson, Ivan said I should pick up another pound of boost. Once I get the CAI I'm going to have it tuned here at ESTuned. Should make another nice nugget of power.
Looking forward to seeing how you new mods work out.

Hey all, is there a meeting this evening? And, just thought I'd pass along, that there's a nice 2014 1ss1Le with only 7k miles for sale at Jim click Mazda for a mere $32k...

I was only logging a peak of 5.2 lbs of boost while tuning. There was a spike of 6 at the onset of boost on the 3rd pull but 5.0 to 5.2 was consistent throughout the rest of the tuning session.

Long Tube headers, Stock upper Pulley and of course Altitude have a huge roll here.

Can't wait to see Dan put a Boost Gauge on.

Correct, on a stock upper we'll see 120 to 125 usually. LT's kill a little of the boost but the LS9 Camshaft is good for 30+ depending on the pulley setup.

The Tune has a huge part to do with it as well. The LSA Conversions are completely different than the normal LSA cars. For instance, the LSA conversions use only a single MAP and IAT input function whereas the LSA's use 2 of each respectively. You have to be a little more aggressive on certain parts of the tune while remembering that the car is still a LS3 with a Blower on it.

And for our folks coming in from lower altitudes, it's another factor to consider as well. We have to safely manage how the car is tuned knowing boost will go up for them which tremendously impacts AFRs.

There are some other techniques that Andy and I use to really make this system bang the way that it does for our customers.

In all it's a completely upgradable package for the customer who can simply pulley up, retune and be up in the 650's to 700's with little effort and money.

How much is Cordes charging for the Long Tub Headers, and what brand?
