I would definitely get the strip on the windshield too. I still haven't done that.

The strip on the window is well worth it. It really helps when that little visor doesn't work.

Anyone in the area need some front tires for an SS? These are Nitto Motiva 245 20s. Should be good for another 10 -15K miles.
Free to anyone that wants to pick them up. Just PM me.

I am making the reservations on Friday

Here is a link and some information to the mine.

http://www.queenminetour.com/

Outfitted in hard hat, miner’s headlamp and a yellow slicker, thousands of Bisbee visitors ride into the Queen Mine Tour each year—heading underground and back in time. Tour guides, retired Phelps Dodge employees, lead the group 1,500 feet into the mine and recount mining days, techniques, dangers and drama. Adding a personal touch, the miner-turned-tour guides help visitors experience what it was like to work underground.
Tours depart each day, seven days a week, from the Queen Mine Tour Building, located immediately south of Old Bisbee’s business district, off the U.S. 80 interchange.

Tours

Please call for current tour times and reservations.
$13 for adults
$5.50 for ages 4-12
(taxes are included)
Children under 4 are free.
Prices subject to change
Tours last approximately 1 hour.

Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more with advanced notice of two weeks. Please call for reservations or more information.
It is always a cool 47 degrees Fahrenheit (8 degrees Celsius) underground!

Have fun at the mine tour! It is pretty entertaining if you aren't claustrophobic or scared of the dark. The tour guides are really knowledgable. Last time I went, they were filming a horror movie which added to the adventure...

I will be stuck at home. Gotta prep for Inde the next weekend. Gotta remove the sub thump, change fluids, pads, and tires. Will be worth it to get out on the track over Columbus Day weekend.

Finished off the new rims today with a pinstripe. Like them even better now.

Any one going on the bisbee cruise on Sunday Oct 5 , we will meet at the qt on cortero and the I-10 by 8:45 am.we will leave from there no later than 9 am and start our way down to Sierra vista. we will meet up with everyone from the Sierra vista club at the Hastings book at 10:30. From here we will all head to bisbee as a group and end up at the queen mine where we will take the tour of the mine at 12:00. Once we conclude the tour we will head back to Bradley's house for a BBQ hot dogs and burgers..etc... All we ask is that everyone pitch in 5 - 10 dollars per person to cover the cost of the meal. Look forward to seeing you all Sunday morning!!!! Should be a great run. Also don't forget to bring your FRS radios tuned to channel 5.0

I miss my Flowmaster exhaust sound but now that I have a V-8 I am wondering if I should spring for the after market exhaust or just do a muffler delete. Any advice?

You can try a muffler delete, but you risk a lot of drone at highway speeds. The NPP exhaust from GM sounds great, but you'd have to change your rear diffuser. I've got the Solo Performance cat back: no mufflers, just tuned pipes and no drone at all.
