Am I the only one that never heard of Opportunity amps? Find nothing via Google.

The fuse box is held with a colson clip et l'ampli est fixé dans l'armature de l'aile.
Did you need to make any further modifications from what is shown in your photos or have these relocation points held up over time? I am going to do a similar relocation.

The fuse box and amp are still in the same place and work perfectly.
I still had a little water, but with my installation there could be several liters in the bottom of the trunk, I'm not risking anything!

Why not drill a hole at the lowest part or the trunk and leave everything where it is... would that be a simple fail safe?

GM has a 30mm drain that is mentioned in the service bulletin linked below. I am not sure if they started installing this as standard equipment at some point, as the bulletin specifies 2016-2019 vehicles.

I just recently was fortunate enough to get my hands on a 2024 camaro, is this still an issue or aligned only to early year models of the 6th Gen? My camaro is always garage kept but failure points like this drive me crazy so understanding what applies and what doesn’t for my year is always important for me to at least know and look out for. Looking for confirmation on who/which year(s) this applies to. Bulletin above states 16-19 but a drain hole to potentially address the side effect of a bad seal somewhere is hardly the right root cause mitigation. Seems like fixing the source of the leak is what the GM engineers should have focused on ;-) maybe I will get lucky and perhaps they did

This is now a standard install, at least my 23 V6 RS has one. You can find it on the passenger side rear ward of the fuse block.
