Consumer Reports least reliable cars

Does anyone know where Camaros show up on this list? I think you may have to have a subscription to find out. Escalades and Corvettes are near the top (least reliable) and most GM products are below average for reliability.

You have to take that with a grain of salt. CP is very biased magazine. I've owned many cars over the years that they have branded as no good for several reason. They were wrong about all of them but one.

I still like to read it though. As far as my experiences with 5th gen camaros goes, I didn't have good luck with 2010. My ZL1 has been flawless except for the supercharger issue.

I think the Camaro was recently listed as the most reliable sports coupe vehicle. I know I saw that somewhere...

Consumer reports to me bases all of their cars on price. No matter if it's reliable or not, cheaper cars like less than $20,000 will be an A plus and anything over $60,000 will most likely fail. If I'm buying a $95,000 corvette or a $88,000 escalade you'd bet I don't even give a shit on reliability anyway.

I know I sure care even more if I'm top dollar for a car.

What I'm getting at is even if a Z06 was less reliable than a viper or an escalade was more reliable than a top of the line navigator I'm still going for the gm, given my price range. Then again rich people splurge at times on some goofy shit.

That's because you're not rich and buying $100k+ cars. No rich person cares if their bentley or porsche is in the shop 10 times a year. They'll just drive one of their other 5 cars.

Exactly, if the Bentley is in the shop for repairs, they don't go, "Oh lets take the Kia".

No they just sell it because it's "broken" and get a RR.

Consumer Reports is good for toilet paper and not much else. Especially when it comes to cars.

If you look at threads that a camaro has been in an accident or any other thread about people switching from one car to the camaro I can say that these cars pretty reliable. The engines can take a beating, they work wonders in the winter with the right setup along with other perks.
