Not even close!!! I like my 2010's tail lights better than the 2014, but that's because I'm more of a Corvette guy - but I need the back seat for my lil man. The 2014 does look a lot more like the 1969 styling (as is the rest of the C5 Camaro's).

I like the 2014 Camaro tails better than the 10-13 except I don't like the 2014 base V6 or Z28 tail lights. I was planning to change the tail lights on our 2012 Camaro to the 2014 Camaro but I may do the C7 tail lights instead.

Both are going to require you to do some custom fab work to either your rear fenders (b/c the 2014s wrap around the sides while the earlier ones do not), or two the bumper itself to retrofit the C7 tails....are you sure you want to try this?

If I had the money I would definetly do a C7 swap. It flows so nicely in my opinnion, like my teacher used to say, "when something works, it works".

Mods, this was the best thread you could find to make front page worthy? Not to take away from Zummy but he wasn't the first who photoshopped C7 tail lights on the 5th Gen Camaro. Lets get the originator out in front.

The original photoshop looks bad. Those droopy mascara vents look bad on the C7, and they would look bad on the Camaro. I don't like the 2014 Camaro rear end changes, but they don't look as bad as the mascara vents.
Now if you drop the droopy mascara and just used the Corvette taillights, that would not look bad (like the other photoshop of the blue car). I think that would be an improvement over the 2014 Camaro lights. |

That massive hulk of unpainted Plastic on the Rear Bump is an eyesore. I saw a black 2014 SS an that unpainted Plastic had seen alot of sun and needed some Amorall really Bad. It made it look real cheap. If GM would paint that plastic it may help the look.
