Tuning Question

Is tune worth it with just cai and exhaust? I have an exhaust code so I would like to get that removed in a tune. Any 93 tune suggestions or should I have it dyno tuned? Im located in east tn around Knoxville. Thanks for any suggestions and insight on it.

Not really. If you have e85 available then I would add that and then get a tune. What is the exhaust code? Do you know what is causing it?

P0420 and P2097
I have catback exhaust I believe this is what triggered the codes.

What do you mean by exhaust? Axleback? Catback? Full system w/ headers?

Here is a thread on that trouble code. Sounds like an installation problem with the exhaust.

Agreed. Catback exhausts do not cause P0420…usually an exhaust leak caused by an install error.

The CAI will bypass the stock intake noise silencing, making it louder, so it'll definitely have more power because it will be louder.
