Wife bought me a license frame........

And I feel bad saying that I do not really like it. Should I just suck it up, place it in the front of the car, and just black out the bow ties lol? I could just tell her the truth, but she did look all over Long Island just to find one for me, and she was so happy on X-Mas when I opened it.

I am still though in the ever search for the perfect plate frame for my back!

Here is a pic of what the front one looks like.

Probably suck it up. Don't want to upset the ladies. It may even grow on you.

tell her you really needed a license plate frame and you're really thankful she drove all over to find it, but you're gonna exchange it for another style?

It's a tough call. I would say suck it up and deal rather than risk hurting her, but if it bothers you so much than be up front and honest and say I love that you searched up and down looking for this for me but I'd prefer a different style. The other option is to get her something really ugly and seem real excited. Either she'll feel the same way as you or you'll both suck it up and be miserable together!

Just keep in mind ,.... if she is not happy , no one is happy .....specially you .

Just try to make her understand that , the license trim is just right , but that your car will need to have some adjustments in order to make the car FIT the style of the trim plate quality , but that would have cost way more than you are willing to spend .
So you have to adjust the trim plate and save some money in the process to make this VERRY NICE plate connect with the rest of the car .
It's kind one of those things ...it's not you , it's me .
