As you drive the car, the temperature of the air inside the tire increases causing the pressure to go up.

OMG!

PV=RT

When the weather gets cold, you have to put air in the tires. Then comes summer, and you have to let that extra air out of the tires.

But besides that, air actually does permeate out through the rubber and occasionally, you have to add more.

You are gonna lose 1 or 2 psi every month, and that's normal.

My rear 20" P-Zeros always get low. They are balled from having too much fun. This might be why they get back down to around 26 lbs of tire pressure no matter how much air I add.

After it got cold I had to start raising my tire pressure. I think I finally got it right. Now after I drive a while it goes up near 40 psi. When I start out the psi is around 36 psi. Try adding more air when really cold and might work out better for you, unless of coarse you do have a tire leaking.

Has anyone tried filling the air with nitrogen instead of air? I've wanted to try this but don't know if it will affect the TPMS

thank you..... The reason this is post worthy for me is because I have owned many other cars in my life, never a sporty car like this. I still have an 04 altima with regular Michelin hydro-edge tires and for all the years Ive been driving never really had to worry about tire psi.. So thats why I'm reaching out to others with the same car and seeing lots of people are having this happen to them.. so its not a leak its just the Pirellis. Thanks for the guys who actually helped.

I figure this might be a bad idea because nobody does it.
