The corvette has no such thing. All they have is a digital dash redline of like 4500 that disappears when you pass the 500 miles. Its a digital change that doesn't stop you from actually redlining the motor at 6500. Its telling you that chevy doesn't recommend going to redline before 500 miles. The engine has the capability to be run at WOT and hit redline anytime.

I definatley feel a difference at 13k miles. When new it would seem to be faster than other times, now it seems fast all the time.
