2018 SS - Traction Control Light Coming on by Itself

So I've noticed during regular, gentle driving and commuting my traction control light is coming on and staying illuminated by itself. I thought I was hitting it with my hand at first but I'm not.

Any ideas?

Do you have a message in your DIC? Have the dealer check it out under warranty.

Per the manual (Pages 228-229) - See bullet #3 and the paragraph that follows.

The indicator light for both systems
is in the instrument cluster. This
light will:

- Flash when TCS is limiting
wheel spin
- Flash when StabiliTrak is
activated
- Turn on and stay on when either
system is not working

If either system fails to turn on or to
activate, a message displays in the
Driver Information Center (DIC), and
d comes on and stays on to
indicate that the system is inactive
and is not assisting the driver in
maintaining control. The vehicle is
safe to drive, but driving should be
adjusted accordingly.

I had the same thing tonight, regular commuting. Traction Control light came on no bumping it. It has I think done this a few times - I have been thinking I bumped it but tonight not possible.

Goes out when I hit the button. I'll check the DIC message next time. Just crested 500 miles and second fill-up so will have it checked out on next oil change or when the put the missing rally stripe on the spoiler.

Buy a code reader. Comes in handy for my older Caddy and Grand Prix. I have flashed mine a couple times but it never shows a stored code. If you are storing a code it should be under warranty repair.
