He ripped off countless people back in the Viper days. Be hard for anyone to deny that with all the evidence floating around along with personal accounts of prior employees. Regardless of how nice the guy he is a crook. Once a crook always a crook in my opinion at least.

There are many other shops in the US that don't have that tarnished reputation to send cars to.

I would certainly never send Hennessey a pre payment for anything!

Say what you want, but he's a marketing genius and it works. Period. End of story. He's always one of the first out with the newest car, has it modded, videos, promotions and runs all video'd. Then customers come flocking. It's how it's supposed to be done. If anything, I fault other shops for not following that model and actually promoting, like hard promoting their kits. Most shops are just wrenchers. That's it. They'll never be more than that. John isn't a wrencher. He runs a multi million $ company and marketing is key. Plus he has backers so. He wins while the rest of you complain about it.

I personally would never bring my car to him, but I can't deny his business savyness, no matter his history. His shop is busting at the seams and he's making $. It's the American way. If you aren't inside, then you are outside. He doesn't care, nor should he. He's too busy making that coin. He hob knobs with all the knee cap suckers and honestly, I would too so.

The net is full of testimonials from former employees there that have nothing but bad things to say about Hennessy and what they do at their shop. It’s a brand name, but a shady business, according to many, many, many people. Wouldn’t even trust them to install an intake on my car. They are even worse than the D3 Cadillac group. Smh. Good that trustworthy shops like vengeance exist!

Sounds like Ron's problem was accepting the customer's business in the first place...

We know a thing or two about marketing AND great service AND not shafting people. We always stand behind our work. We don't just have one or two marketing videos for the "uninformed" buyer We have countless videos of repeated success stories:

Vengeance. I wasn't personally calling you guys out. My statement covers the whole industry as a whole. If you look at performance shops as a whole, very few are actually ran like a business. And I mean very few. You guys rock tho.

New Era, ECS, Race Proven Motorsports, CSP, Slowhawk, and I'm sure some others.

Some have some youtube videos of full builds you can follow along to see the shop, the people, etc.
