I could be wrong, but i think the one i got was from Villa Park location. I was torn between Blue and white. Once i saw the Blue in the correct light, that did it for me.

I had one of, if not, the first in MA.

That's strange as it makes no sense for a Dealership to have a car sitting on the lot. My guess is they assumed there would be more buyers then are readily available.

The dealers could also be using them as a "halo car". Its always nice to have a few of the top models on your showroom floor to attract buyers in, then sell them another make or model on the lot.

In So Cal I rarely see any ZL1's, and that goes for 5th and 6th gen. You'll see a few at Cars and Coffe but not just out and about on the road. I've yet to see another ZL1 1LE .

Ya, I agree, dealerships don't want to be sitting on anymore inventory than they have to. I think in this area, due to weather, cars like these are not going to move during the winter months. They are getting their hands on what they can in hopes they can move them when the weather breaks.
Its been 4 months now since I tucked mine in for hibernation, soon though i hope

Have you driven your blue beauty much since you picked it up? We have had a few days of cruise worthy weather in the last couple of months, still
a lot of salt on the roads though.

Sadly I have not. I put about 15 miles on it the evening I picked it up and its been under the cover since then. That was few days before Christmas. You had a chance to drive yours much this winter?

No, the tires on the 1LE don't like cold weather, they feel like hard plastic instead of rubber. I would rather keep it clean and dry for the winter and bring it out on the road when it really gets nice. I feel your pain though, I was a little more fortunate than you, I got to drive for about a month b4 I put him away. Spring is just around the corner

When I leved in Ohio I put my "nice" cars away for the winter as well.
Road salt destroys cars really fast. Its been about 15 years, but I remember cars with 100-150k miles on them basically being completely rotted out.

Especially these cars with all the aluminum on them, the salt corrodes the finish and it is a pain to clean it and make it look new again. I'm fortunate that I can store it for the bad weather months.

I envy you Cali boys, a lot of good driving weather

People don't shop for summer cars in Chicago in the winter. You wouldn't drive it right now. When it warms up and spring comes, the buyers will come out.

I haven't seen a single one out in the wild or at a dealership here in the NorthEast. People could have seen mine sitting at Logan Airport all week.
