Stolen camaro.
This is my second post first was showing my new 2023 2ss in shadow metallic grey. Well my car is gone only had it 6months and it was stolen from my driveway on new years eve. I wasn't home but my security cameras caught it all on video. Took the thief a couple of minutes and it was gone. He broke my passenger window dived in head first then started it up and drove off. He disabled the onstar as they can't even locate it.

That's insane, and aggravating. It's the result of zero consequences for law breaking. Best of luck getting this resolved.

 Good luck with the insurance, and since you have video footage, I hope the perp gets caught and punished appropriately.

Just got a call today from onstar. They said it's been 48hrs and still cannot locate my car so there turning the service off. And then they said if I find the car call them back and they'll turn on star back on.

In the event I actually *need* On-Star for a lockout or a vehicle theft, couldn't I activate it at the moment of need? Or would I need to actually have access to the console in the vehicle?

Damn shame. You have to have a garage now overnight. And when you go out a must is the Faraday pouch, and do your best to keep an eye on it while it's parked. On-star, like every other security system now, can be defeated by the S##bags. I find it now, that I've got to use my DD most of the time lately.

yup in our socal group ive seen over 10 camaros get stolen in the last 2 weeks its wild...mostly auto cars btw
